HQ mode downloads a larger AI model (about 67 MB) the first time and will take longer than the earlier version. The HQ model predicts the instrumental directly, then TM Converter derives the vocal stem from the original mix. A two-pass MDX denoise process is enabled to reduce separation artifacts. Desktop Chrome or Edge is recommended for the fastest test.

Does TM Converter upload my file?
The current converter, BPM/key analyzer and vocal separator are designed to process selected media in your browser. The file is not intentionally uploaded to TM Converter’s server for these tools.
How does the Vocal Separator work?
TM Converter's HQ separator uses an MDX source-separation model to estimate the instrumental directly, then derives the vocal stem from the original mix. Results can still vary by mix, mastering, vocal effects and recording style.
How accurate are BPM and key results?
They are estimates. Clean, steady instrumentals usually analyze better than live recordings, tempo-changing songs or tracks with ambiguous harmony.
Can TM Converter download every YouTube result?
No. YouTube search is for discovery. Downloads shown on TM Converter will come from producers or rights holders who provide an authorized file or approved direct-download source.
What does “free beat” mean?
Each producer can set different terms. A beat may be free for nonprofit use with credit while still requiring a lease for commercial streaming releases. TM Converter displays those terms on authorized listings.
